Welcome to SliceSave ("we", "our", or "us"). SliceSave is an AI-powered trip planning platform designed exclusively for solo travelers in India. We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy.

2 Information We Collect
We collect information that you provide directly to us when you use our services:
Account Information
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, profile image, and Google account identifier through Firebase Authentication to create and secure your account.
Trip Planning Data
We collect the details you enter to plan trips: origin, destination, travel dates, budget, and personal preferences (transport, accommodation, interests).
Payment Information
We process payments via Razorpay. We do not store your credit/debit card details. We only store the Razorpay Order ID, Payment ID, transaction status and booking-request totals. We may store traveller name, contact details, age, berth/stay preferences, PNR and accommodation confirmation to fulfil a booking request. Never submit an IRCTC password or OTP; SliceSave does not request or store them.
AI-Generated Content
The detailed itineraries, budget breakdowns, and transport recommendations generated by our AI are stored in your account to allow you to view and share them later.
3 How We Use Your Information
We use the collected data strictly to provide and improve our trip planning services:
- To generate personalized, AI-powered solo travel itineraries based on your budget and preferences.
- To process advertiser-selected one-time ₹400-per-day campaign payments securely through Razorpay. SliceSave does not use recurring billing for travelers.
- To allow you to view, manage, and share your past and upcoming trips.
- To send you essential service-related notifications (e.g., payment receipts, account verification).
4 Third-Party Services & Data Sharing
We rely on trusted third-party providers to operate SliceSave. We do not sell your data. We share data only as necessary with:
Firebase (Google Cloud)
Used for user authentication, secure database storage (Firestore), and hosting. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
Razorpay
Our payment gateway. Razorpay processes your financial transactions securely. They are PCI-DSS compliant. We only receive transaction metadata.
Groq (AI Inference)
We use Groq's API to run our AI models. Your trip preferences are sent to Groq to generate the itinerary. Groq processes this data according to their own privacy terms.
OpenFreeMap
Used to display interactive maps on our platform. This service is keyless and does not track individual user identities.
5 Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information. All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Your trip data and account information are stored in secure, access-controlled environments via Firebase. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
6 Your Rights & Choices
You have full control over your data on SliceSave:
- Delete Data: You can permanently delete any trip you have created via the "My Trips" dashboard.
- Access: You can view all your stored trip itineraries and account details at any time.
- Account Deletion: You can request the complete deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting our support team.
- Correction and withdrawal: You may ask us to correct inaccurate account information or withdraw consent for optional processing. Withdrawal does not affect processing already lawfully completed.
- Retention: Account and trip data is retained while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Payment, fraud-prevention and legal records may be retained for the period required by applicable law.
