India solo travel planning—with honest boundaries.
SliceSave builds budget-first itineraries for solo travel within India, especially journeys involving trains and buses. AI organizes the plan; open data adds geographic, weather, route and image context.
What uses live open data
- Weather: Open-Meteo
- Geography: Photon and OpenStreetMap
- Road visualization: OSRM and OpenStreetMap

What is not live booking data
Train numbers, running days, availability, fares, delays and railway retiring rooms may be AI estimates. Always verify on IRCTC and NTES before booking or travelling.
How AI is used
Groq-hosted language models structure itineraries around the budget, dates and preferences supplied by the traveler. Mathematical totals are recalculated by the backend, but recommendations can still change or be imperfect.
Our principles
SliceSave place guides and published train routes are free. Advertisements are clearly labelled, reviewed before publication, and never determine route verification or safety guidance.
Before every journey
Confirm tickets, accommodation, local restrictions, weather and safety with authoritative providers. Keep emergency contacts informed and use the family-sharing summary for important journeys.
